- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all advisory, consultancy, and visa-related services provided by Filii Magna Limited (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to clients (“Client”, “you”, or “your”).
By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which represent a legally binding agreement between you and Filii Magna Limited. Clients are advised to read and understand this Policy before making any payment or commencing engagement.
- Scope of Services
Filii Magna Limited provides consultancy, advisory, and application processing services, including but not limited to:
- Visa application assistance and documentation guidance;
- Educational, migration, and professional advisory;
- Consultancy and facilitation for international programs; and
- General administrative and support services related to client applications.
Filii Magna does not guarantee visa approval, as such decisions are made solely by the respective embassies or consulates.
- Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documentation required for processing;
- Comply with all applicable immigration, education, and employment regulations;
- Pay all agreed consultancy and related service fees as communicated by the Company;
- Refrain from any misrepresentation or omission of material facts that may affect the service outcome;
- Keep Filii Magna informed of any change in personal details, address, or circumstances relevant to the service.
Failure to provide accurate or timely information may result in service delays or termination without refund.
- Consultancy Fees and Payments
- All payments shall be made directly to Filii Magna Limited’s designated bank account(s) and evidenced by official receipts or confirmation.
- Consultancy fees are determined based on the scope and complexity of services.
- Once payment is made, it shall be governed by the Company’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Visa fees paid to the consulate or third-party institutions are non-refundable once remitted.
- All payments must be completed prior to commencement of application processing, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Refund and Cancellation
Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed strictly in accordance with the Company’s Refund Policy.
No refund shall be made for:
- Services already rendered or substantially completed;
- Situations where the Client withdraws, delays, or fails to cooperate; or
- Rejection of visa or permit applications by the embassy/consulate for reasons outside Filii Magna’s control.
All administrative charges, as stated in the Refund Policy, shall apply.
- Processing Timelines
While Filii Magna endeavors to process applications efficiently, timelines may vary based on:
- Embassy or consulate workload;
- Availability of appointments;
- Completeness of client documents; and
- External administrative or policy factors.
Filii Magna shall not be liable for delays or rejections caused by external agencies or inaccuracies in client-provided data.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
Filii Magna is committed to protecting the confidentiality of client information.
All personal and sensitive data provided shall be handled in accordance with the Data Privacy & Protection Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
Personal information will only be used for purposes related to the services provided and will not be disclosed to third parties except:
- As required by law;
- For legitimate processing under written agreements; or
- With the Client’s prior consent.
- Intellectual Property
All content, materials, documents, templates, and resources provided by Filii Magna are the intellectual property of the Company and are for personal use only.
Clients are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or modifying such materials without written permission.
- Limitation of Liability
Filii Magna Limited shall not be liable for:
- Any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on information supplied by the Client;
- Decisions or outcomes determined by embassies, consulates, or external authorities;
- Delays, cancellations, or force majeure events beyond our control.
In no event shall Filii Magna’s total liability exceed the consultancy fee paid by the Client for the specific service rendered.
- Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute or disagreement arising from these Terms:
- Parties shall first attempt amicable settlement through negotiation.
- Where unresolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation or arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
- The venue of arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
- Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising therefrom shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Amendments
Filii Magna reserves the right to modify or update these Terms from time to time.
Any updates will be communicated via official channels or posted on the
Company’s website. Continued engagement after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
